Project: EL Ring Bag

Summary:

Over two years ago I created my first home made bag with EL wire attached to it. The bag fell apart after a few weeks of use, but the EL was a big hit. Lots of people asked me where I got such a bright bag, and if I could make one for them. I decided now that I am more comfortable making things for other people that it was time to re-insert the bag gimmick.

The Project primarily consists of:

1. Silver heavy duty European shoulder bag
2. A PIC16F84 18pin DIP microcontroller
3. 100+ lines of PIC ASM for sequencing
4. 8 TO-92 Triacs
5. 10pin ribbon connector for density
6. 9VDC IN -> 100V AC Out EL Inverter
