Summary
I love machines. Whether I am implanting myself with electronics, growing plants with LEDs, or driving my car on waste oil there are plenty of computers to help me complete the task at hand. Nothing pleases me more than to solve a real world dilema with a circuit board, microcontroller, and a little bit of firmware. My work has been featured on every major news program in the US along with many newspapers, magazines, tv shows, and documentaries. I am a professional speaker with poor spelling.
Software
I like to program in C and script in perl or ksh.
I have been working with Linux since pre-1.0 kernels in 1993. I have worked with every major UNIX varient since then. They are all pretty much dead today so no need to elaborate. Since 2005 I have been running on Mac OS/X for my personal machines using almost exclusively open source software for all my hardware developement.
Hardware
Microcontrollers are my love. I have extensive IT experience administrating tens of thousands of systems running Linux/UNIX varients. My skills are most advanced around embedded remote management.
